SCHOOL NOTICES:

Eco-Warriors

The Eco-Warriors at Stockton Wood work very hard to make our outdoor environment a more inviting Eco place. They have built an Eco Garden and grew beans, peas, rhubarb and fruit which were tried by children around the school. The Eco Garden is currently under refurbishment with new planters ready for seeds to be cultivated.

For the Queen’s 60th Jubilee they gave out trees around Speke as well as planting the Royal Oak in the Memorial Garden.

For the Queen’s 70th Jubilee they have given out wildflower seeds to help the bees and butterflies of Speke.

Our Warriors have taken part in many projects including the Big Plastic Count. They are also at the forefront of recycling throughout school. The most recent project they are working on is helping to save power in the school building.

The Eco Warriors intend to carry on improving our outdoor space whether by fundraising or pure graft. Remember it is the small deeds that change the World.
