COP30 Assembly
3M enjoyed the COP30 assembly today. We explored different ways that we can help our planet and animals. We then discussed ideas that we would like to put into place.

COP 30 conference
Year 6 joined in with a live conference from COP 30 in Brazil. The children learnt about environmental changes and sustainability.

All Saints Woodland Trail



A Year 4 child has been involved in planning, designing and creating the new All Saints Woodland trail.

Year 6 Music Re-imagined
Today we listened to and watched Vivaldi”s “The Four Seasons” and compared it with a “Regenerate: Seasons for change” piece of music.
Using YuStudio as the platform, we will create our very own “Spring soundscape” which we hope will capture elements of climate change and the effects of global warming.


KS1 Yard Fun!
Year 1 and Year 2 have been having a brilliant time making use of the new materials on the Key Stage 1 yard!




Year 6 Music
We compared two contrasting musical interpretations of Spring. Now we are creating our own musical soundscape of Spring with a climate change theme.





ECO WARRIORS
Our Eco Warriors are teaming up with ADIENT to help make our school community more sustainable 🌱
Today we met to share ideas and discuss how they can get involved in supporting our environmental goals. We’re excited to work together and look forward to the positive impact this partnership will bring! ♻️

Grow With Us Project




Our Eco Warriors are taking part in Food for Thought’s ‘Grow with us’ project to develop our school gardens and make our school more sustainable.

PSHE
During PSHE this week, we have discussed how we can look after our outside spaces. We spoke about how taking care of our environment helps to keep our wildlife safe. Today we made our own bird food to put in our outside spaces.










Planting Flowers


This week, the Eco Warriors were busy digging up weeds and planting fresh flowers.

5D geography
The children have been looking at sustainable tourism around North America. They were using top trump cards to learn about tourist locations and then created fact files on 2 of their favourites.



Stay and learn











Such an amazing turn out for our stay and learn this week! We recycled our milk cartons and planted a bean! Hopefully it will grow into something super special…we also used our critical thinking skills to create lots of water runs! Lots of fun – thank you to our families for supporting us!
