Children in Need
On Friday, Year 3 enjoyed learning about Children in Need. We discussed all the things that we are thankful for and dressed in our own clothes to raise money.








Anti-Bullying Assembly
Today, Year 3 enjoyed watching an anti-bullying performance, called ‘Road to Respect’, all about celebrating our differences and choosing to be kind.







Anti-Bullying Week
Year 4 had a lovely morning working with Altru for Anti-Bullying Week. We watched an amazing play and had a workshop focusing on the importance of using our power for good.



Year 5 & 6 Anthony Walker Foundation assembly
Today we had an assembly to discuss the Anthony Walker foundation and the importance of being kind and standing up for each other.
We learnt that although we are all different, we also have lots in common and it is important to recognise that our differences are what makes us special.



Letters to Santa
Today Reception posted their letters to Santa. We wrote down what we would like for Christmas and then put a stamp on the letter to send it to the North Pole. We even got a surprise gift- we think it might have been from the elves?





























Advent assembly with Rev Fiona
Key stage one enjoyed their assembly with Rev Fiona from All Saints Church. They learnt about advent and the meaning of Christmas.

Year 3 enjoyed their Picture News live from Antarctica this morning with Robert Swan OBE and Jenny Cooke.


The Nativity Story



We consolidated our learning about the meaning of Christmas from visiting the church by rereading the Nativity story. We used our story props to help our story come to life. Children were amazing at remembering some of the key names like Mary, Joseph and Jesus. We talked about how much of a special time this is for Christian families.

Hanukkah Assembly
Today, we had an assembly all about the Jewish festival- Hanukkah. We learned why it is celebrated and how it is celebrated.


Hanukkah
This week, we have been learning all about the Jewish festival of light – Hanukkah! We learned all about the menorah, and how each day, a new candle is lit using the special candle in the middle (the shamash). We had fun counting the candles on our own Menorah, and even printed one to take home, being careful to count exactly 9 candles. 🕯️ 🕎







Feeling Safe
This week in PSHE and collective worship, Year 4 discussed how to make safe choices. We had lots of great discussions on what feeling safe means to us and how to make safe choices.




Children’s Mental Health Week 2026
3McK enjoyed their quiet place session with Audrey where we talked about different strategies we can use to deal with different emotions we might be feeling.

Thankfulness Assembly
Key Stage 1 and Year 3 enjoyed our assembly with Rev Phil this morning. We talked about the things we are thankful for and had a sing and a dance at the end.






Thankfulness
Today, we had Rev Phil delivering our assembly all about thankfulness. We thought about what we are thankful for and discussed how we could find something to be thankful for even when times are hard.
