All Saints Woodland Play Trail
All Saints Woodland Play Trail – Celebrating the Creativity of Stockton Wood Pupils
We are delighted to share some wonderful news with our school community. The children of Stockton Wood Primary School have been formally recognised for their outstanding contribution to the creation of the brand-new All Saints Woodland Play Trail.
Throughout the design process, our pupils were described as “a true creative force” — taking on roles as chief designers, expert consultants, and the ultimate inspiration behind the project. From the earliest planning stages, the children shared ideas, sketched imaginative features, and offered thoughtful suggestions to ensure the trail would be a magical, engaging space for all who visit.
Their creativity helped shape everything from the layout and themes to the playful interactive elements now woven throughout the woodland. By listening to what excites and inspires children most, the design team were able to bring their visions to life and create a trail that encourages exploration, adventure, and a love of the outdoors.
This wonderful project now stands as a testament to the power of children’s imaginations and the value of giving young people a voice in shaping their community spaces. The Woodland Play Trail is already being celebrated as a place families, friends, and local residents can enjoy together for years to come.
We are incredibly proud of our pupils and the enthusiasm, creativity, and confidence they have shown throughout this journey. Their contributions have made a lasting impact, and we look forward to seeing the trail inspire many more young adventurers in the future.
Here are some pictures of the completed trail and our children enjoying it!

Aspirations Week
What a wonderful week we had learning about different careers. We had visits from Paramedics, Lecturers, Woodworkers, Actors, an FA Representative, a Blood Technician and a Travel Agent – amongst others! Our children were truly inspired and it has led to lots of conversations about what they’d like to be when they grow up. Below are some of the photos and pictures showcasing our success at Stockton Wood Primary School!
Some quotes from the children:
“I enjoyed it when we dressed up as our future career. The assemblies were good for learning about different people’s jobs.” Willow
“I enjoyed doing CPR with the paramedic.” Faith
“I enjoyed learning about all the different jobs.” Zhavia
“This week made me want to be an artis.t” Isabelle
“I liked hearing about reverend Phil’s job because it made me want to grow up to be a Christian.” Cilla
“I liked dressing up as our different jobs.” Alex
