World Book Day 2026
Today we watched a live world book day session on BBCiplayer. We planted a sunflower seed, read lots of books, iced a biscuit, had a cake from the birthday boy in our class and watched the Smeds and the Smoos.

World Book Day in Year 5
Today the school took part in loads of world book day fun, including a booky and footy quiz, costume catwalk and created a shield with our favourite books.
World Book Day
Year 4 had a lovely day celebrating World Book Day📚 We enjoyed the Premier League Footy and Booky quiz and we recreated our favourite book. Most of all, we enjoyed hearing a story from our mystery readers.

We had a lovely day today for World Book Day. We created a poster all about the word we came dressed as, completed a book review and joined a live BBC world book day zoom.
Liverpool Football Club- World Book Day Event
What a fabulous day at LFC for their belated World Book Day Event. We met Ben Lyttleton, the author of a series of books called ‘Football School’. We met Mighty Red- the LFC mascot- and we took part in some great activities. We designed our own book front cover and we designed an outfit for a fashion show. The children were an absolute pleasure and were brilliant ambassadors for our school.
