Aspirations Week

SCHOOL NOTICES:

Aspirations Week

What a wonderful week we had learning about different careers. We had visits from Paramedics, Lecturers, Woodworkers, Actors, an FA Representative, a Blood Technician and a Travel Agent – amongst others! Our children were truly inspired and it has led to lots of conversations about what they’d like to be when they grow up. Below are some of the photos and pictures showcasing our success at Stockton Wood Primary School!

Some quotes from the children:

“I enjoyed it when we dressed up as our future career. The assemblies were good for learning about different people’s jobs.” Willow

“I enjoyed doing CPR with the paramedic.” Faith

“I enjoyed learning about all the different jobs.” Zhavia

“This week made me want to be an artis.t” Isabelle

“I liked hearing about reverend Phil’s job because it made me want to grow up to be a Christian.” Cilla

“I liked dressing up as our different jobs.” Alex

Children in Need money raised

Our pupils and staff raised the great amount of £171.00 for Children in Need by coming to school with ‘Crazy Hair’ on Friday 18th November. There were some fantastic styles and colours – well done Stockton Wood!
