Today we discussed Shrove Tuesday or Pancake Tuesday as most like to call it. We learnt that it became tradition for Christians to make pancakes on Shrove Tuesday as they were giving up eggs, flour and milk for lent and needed to use all these ingredients before Ash Wednesday when lent starts!
