📢 School Council Elections – Friday 18th September! 📢

As discussed both in classes and in assembly, if you would like to stand for school council this year, please prepare a short speech explaining why you would make a great school councillor.
Think about the great qualities you have, how you would represent your classmates and the ideas and enthusiasm you could bring to our school councillor meetings.

Write your speech at home and bring it to school on Friday, ready for the elections!

School Council Election – Y4

We had seven brave pupils nominate themselves and read aloud their letters of application to become 4J’s councillor. All children had the opportunity to vote and the winner will be announced on Monday!

So proud of 4M this week! 🤩 From only a few children wanting to stand for School Council to 13 children bravely stepping outside their comfort zone to deliver a speech! 👏

Every child then had the opportunity to vote and have their voice heard, demonstrating our RISE values and democracy.

Update: Results will now be announced on Wednesday in assembly…good luck! 🤞

5D School council candidates 🤩👏

Well done to all of our wonderful children in 5D who put themselves forward for the School Council. Their speeches were fantastic, and any one of them would make a wonderful representative for our school. We are so proud of them all!
