5H took their learning outside during English, using the natural environment to inspire ideas for survival skills. The children explored the school grounds, discussing and taking notes on what they would need to stay safe, find shelter and work as a team in a survival situation. This sparked great creativity and inspired 5H to develop ideas before bringing it back into the classroom to support their writing.
