Together, we read ‘Things I Like’ by Anthony Browne. We discussed all the different things that the monkey of the story likes and made connections with each of those things – do we all like the same? We learned that, actually no, we don’t all like the same things, and that’s okay! We then had to pick different objects out of the bag, and make connections with each item – if we pulled a pencil out of the bag, we had to talk about what things we could do with the pencil, before talking about whether we liked those activities, or not.
